About me & this blog

Hello there, I’m Lior! As an adult navigating life with both ADHD and multiple sclerosis, I’ve come to see my journey, with all its unexpected twists and turns, as a powerful teacher. It’s through facing challenges, often without even realizing their root causes initially, that I’ve cultivated a knack for creative problem-solving. While my extroverted nature thrives in collaborative settings, I also deeply value my independent pursuits. I find immense joy in connecting with others, and I genuinely believe that a positive outlook is not just a gift but also a remarkably effective way to cope with life’s complexities. You’ll often find me sharing a joke, as brightening someone’s day is something I truly cherish.

My journey has also been deeply intertwined with the world of food. From a young age, my passion for cooking took hold, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than creating meals for others. In today’s world of social media and the vibrant DIY culture, I felt inspired to share some of the fun and insightful tricks I’ve picked up along the way. This blog, “Living with Less, Enjoying More: A Guide to Motivation, Good Self-Talk, Easy Nutritious Recipes & Routines,” is born from this desire to connect and share. Here, you’ll discover practical tips, both physical and conceptual, designed to simplify cooking and offer visual reminders that we are capable and never truly alone.

More than just recipes, this space is dedicated to sharing my personal story and offering guidance that I hope you can adapt and build upon. My early experiences working in kitchens instilled in me a resourceful “chef mentality”—a belief that there’s always a way forward, even when things seem impossible. This mindset became invaluable when I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a moment that initially felt overwhelming. However, drawing on that ingrained resilience, I learned that even in the face of significant challenges, taking small, consistent steps, fueled by positive self-talk and healthy habits, can lead to remarkable progress. Join me as we explore easy and nutritious recipes, strategies for managing MS symptoms, inspiring stories, and routines that foster empowering habits. My sincere hope is that this blog inspires you to tackle whatever you need to accomplish, and together, we can build a supportive and positive community.
